a little fall fun :)

one of my very best friends from childhood actually lives about ten minutes from us now...yay! her and her family were so sweet to invite us over for an evening of fall fun. we started with a hay ride...

after that, we headed towards the hay maze...

and then we finished up decorating pumpkins...

we even managed to sneak in an acceptable family photo...thanks ashley! after that, we headed back to their house for a yummy dinner. we've been friends since first grade, so it was great to spend time with such an old friend and her family. too bad i don't have a first grade and present photo to show y'all...ha! maybe another day :)
