a family affair

The whole gang made it to Mom and Dad's new house for the labor day weekend.

We went to dinner one night to celebrate both Aunt Lindy and Emma's birthday.

This is a sweet photo, but all that I seem to notice is the beautiful tatoo in the background. You know you're in Louisiana when the tatoo of choice is a fleur-de-lis. Thanks lady at the mexican restaurant for ruining my photo. Y'all, please don't take offense to my comments, I've had a glass of wine :)

Emma had just woken up from her nap, so we weren't too sure of her mood...

It was fun for all of us to be together.

with his Baby MUM MUM. If you haven't checked them out, you should. They are sort of like rice cakes for little ones. It keeps them busy and keeps Momma happy :) Oh, and Emma like them too. She would die for one, but she calls them a Baby YUM YUM. Maybe the manufacturer should take note. Her name makes more sense to me.

I think he needs more hair, don't you?

Mama C. pulled Emma out of her funk. She always does. They are like soul mates :)

We spent the rest of the day just hanging out.

Buddy got loads of attention.

And, I mean loads.

And, we all partook in our share of alcoholic beverages :)
