We were up bright and early for our first full day at Disney. Our day started at Animal Kingdom, on the Safari...
Can you tell it's early?
Maybe, now you can.
We saw loads of animals....
And I must share that *somehow* Emma managed to soak both her leggings and underwear on our first trip to the restroom. So, we were the ones with "tee-tee" soaked leggings air drying on our stroller.
Do you have the visual yet? She was a trooper and wore her wet panties with her skirt. And, I was the unprepared mom who had a change of clothes for our dude, but not our dudette. Catastrophe. check. Moving on. Absolutely.
In route, we ran into Huey, Dewey, and Louie...
All the while, making our way to...
Carson had tears and didn't quite understand how to "wait his turn." I mean, he could see Minnie, so why couldn't he just take off running into her arms.
Disney World Lesson #2...wait your turn. even. if. you. are two. A change of clothes for all of your children is Lesson #1 :)
After waiting not long at all....
There she was...
So fun!
And Carson was so proud of his autograph :)
It only took one time and now he understood to wait his turn...
They were both in love.
As we left Mickey, Carson ran back and gave Mickey a kiss on the nose. It. was. just. like. the. commercial. Magical. I didn't get the photo, but that image is forever in my bank of memories.
Next up...
I think they could've stayed here all day...
And they are still talking about digging up dinosaur bones...
Please notice our lack of leggings :)
We rode the dinos, which were just like dumbo, but prehistoric...
On a whim, we spotted Pluto, which is the. biggest. deal. ever. for our little guy.
Pluto is Carson's favorite...hands down.
Looking back at these photos is making me want to go again...
Everything at Disney is just sheer perfection.
We got two for one on this one and got to meet Goofy too.
But Pluto had our heart.
We finished up with the Nemo musical, which was magnificent. Naps were next on our list...
We all slept and then snuggled up for our first trip to the Magic Kingdom.
We were headed here...
I love Main Street.
I think if I could live there, I would.
And the castle is just plain magical.
This was Miss E's first glimpse...
And our first family shot...
Simply amazing...
We watched the Very merry Christmas Parade and fireworks show.
The toy soldiers were some of my favorites...
And of course, the kids were in love with Santa...
The park was open til midnight that night, and we shut that place down. We hit Tomorrowland first...
Memms loved racing the cars...
The second round of fireworks started...
And, we still had two very happy kiddos.
Later on, it was snack time...cookies and hot chocolate with a view of the castle's fireworks :)
We squeezed in "It's a Small World."
And called it a night. I thing it was well after 1 am before we all made it to bed :)
