The night before was just a big teaser for me. I wanted a whole day in the Magic Kingdom, so that was up next. We took pics at our hotel on the way out...
Emma was in love with the Ariel themed area...
And, I was still in love with Main Street.
Day or night. I just love it.
Carson loved the vintage red fire truck :)
And Emma loved being able to go "through" the castle. The night before, it was used as the stage for the big show.
We lunched in Tomorrowland...
Enjoyed Winnie the Pooh...
And then headed to the New Fantasyland...
Ariel and Tink are Emma's faves. hands down. So, she was pumped :)
We had never met Ariel as a mermaid, just as a human two days before. Both kids were speechless in front of every. single. character.
Stunned and oh so happy at the same time.
They were definitely taking it all in...
But by the end of it, I was thinking that maybe I should dress up like a mermaid. Then, maybe my kids would quietly listen to me...ha!
We saw Prince Eric's Castle...
And the kids played hide and seek :)
Ariel's ride was up next...
And then, there was a little fairy named Tink. Carson doesn't love her much either. Can you tell?
They were both in love with her.
I think she is the highest ranking character at our house.
Emma was impressed that she had on her "winter clothes."
I was so glad that she got to meet her very favorite :)
And then there was Periwinkle. Or "Peri" as Memms calls her.
So I know I said that I love Main Street. Well, have I mentioned that I love the castle too?
Bro enjoyed one of the Mickey 3D shows...
And, then, we made it to the Royal Carousel...
We made our walk down Main Street, with naps next on our list.
But, stopped in for GIANT ice cream sandwiches on the way out :)
Still on a sugar high, we squeezed in a ride on the train, just for Bro...
At Disney, you figure out quickly...you snooze, you lose. We made it back to the Magic Kingdom just in time for the fireworks.
They have the best. fireworks. ever. The kids are still talking about them :)
Magic Kingdom was open until at least midnight again, so we took it down...
There. were. no. lines. I did look at my phone about this time and realized we were riding Dumbo....
at MIDNIGHT. And. it. was. awesome.
So awesome, that we stayed on our elephant and rode again :)
The kids loved it.
We loved it.
And it was magical.
Look at his face...
And memms too. It. was. the. middle. of. the night.
We left the park letting each of our monkeys pick their ONE souvenir for the whole trip. Carson picked Pluto, and Memms wanted Tink, but settled for Ariel....and if you flip her over she becomes Sleeping Beauty :) Two in one was a good choice....especially after midnight :)
